In Hyderabad, a tragic incident unfolded on Sunday as five individuals lost their lives in a collision between two cars on National Highway 167 in Jaklair village, Narayanpet. Additionally, two co-passengers sustained severe injuries and were promptly admitted to a nearby government hospital, as confirmed by the police.
The accident occurred when a Maruti Suzuki Alto, carrying four occupants and traveling from Ramnagar in Hyderabad to Saidapur in Karnataka, collided with a black car heading towards Hyderabad from the opposite direction. According to the police, the black car attempted to overtake but instead collided with the Alto. The resulting impact claimed the lives of three individuals from the Alto and two from the black car. The victims are reported to be residents of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
