Tirupati: Another leopard has been successfully captured in a trap placed within the forested area between the 7th mile and the Narasimha Swamy temple along the Alipiri footpath. This capture occurred early Thursday morning.
The presence of this leopard was initially detected by a trap camera installed in the forest four days ago, which subsequently raised the vigilance levels of both forest and TTD officials. After four days of remaining elusive, this fully grown male leopard was enticed by bait and entered the trap, resulting in its capture during the early hours of today.
